The Liobians' Annual Dinner is held on the first Friday in March at Anfield in the trophy room - yes, at Liverpool Football Club.
Bill Thomas writes ... "It was originally organised for past
members of the LIOBIANS football section, so obviously had a sporting
connection. As the official LIOBIANS Old Boys Association has long since ceased to exist, many
non sporting Old Boys have been attending each year with the aim of renewing old
friendships. With this in mind, the evening has become very informal with the
minimum of speeches etc. and is male only with a jacket and tie dress code.
If you would like any further
information on this event please contact Bill Thomas with your name, address and the
dates you attended the “Institute”. Notifications are sent out in November
for the following March.
Please book early, as places are limited to the
capacity of the facilities, and send a message to Bill Thomas
