The school magazine commenced in 1886 and with
some gaps due to War and evacuation to Bangor continued usually with two
issues a year running up to 70 pages in length until 1975 ( ? ). During
the final few years of the magazine the name was changed to Elan, and the
format was also changed somewhat.
This is a preliminary list of copies held in the
Liverpool Record Office

The British Library (PP.6145.bmb) holds only a run
from Sept. 1925 to 1965. It is not known why the Magazine eventually
ceased publication ten years prior to the school's closure.
